The information also comes to you, so you are only receiving information that you want to receive.

If you don't like the source - kill it, and it's instantly removed.

Twitter can be a great time saver to give you the information when you want it and how you want it.

We publish all of our Blog feeds to Twitter so that you can simply browse the headlines and only visit the page if you like what you see.

7. Focus of the month - Simplicity

"You have to place a high value on simplicity, else you won't get it." - Edward de Bono, inventor of lateral thinking.

I've just reviewed Edward de Bono's book on simplicity, and every time I review the book I realize how complex I make my life.

Even though I am armed with the best simplicity too ever invented, I often go back to complexity.

The first of his ten rules of simplicity states that you have to place a high value on simplicity, else you won't get it. Things naturally become more complex over time - never simpler. You have to seek out simplicity and often have to trade other values to get simplicity.

This has become evident in my online business and my products. I am therefore putting a renewed emphasis on simplicity and you will benefit from it.

So whether it's your personal life, your job, your career, or your education, start trying to make it simpler. Start focusing on concepts, which are naturally more ambiguous than details. This will allow you to keep things simple and focus on the big things, which will automatically make things simpler.

It's never too late to start, as the more complex your life is, the more room for growth there is.

Mind Maps allow you to focus on the big picture. Tony Buzan, the inventor of Mind Maps, calls this Basic Ordering Ideas. A good understanding of Basic Ordering Ideas will ensure that your Mind Maps are focused and contain only the Key Concepts to help you understand or recall the important stuff. If you know your subject well, all you have to do is recall the main ideas to trigger the details. This will come more naturally than you may realise.

So, keep a look out for our simplicity drive, which will bring our products back to being easy to learn and simple to use.

Use our Contact Form to send in your questions.

My goal is to help you use Mind Maps more effectively at work, in business, in education and in your personal life.

There should be enough free information on our website and blog for you to understand the concepts and principles. I only charge for our Mind Map Tutor products, which are in-depth Mind Maps of selected topics and act as guided tutorials.

Until next time - Simplify...
